Peppa Pig Visit!!

Peppa Pig visited the school recently to deliver certificates to pupils in P1-4. The certificates were awarded for completion of the Lights, Camera, Confidence after school club. Peppa shook hands with all the boys and girls and was so impressed by the talent in St.Michael's that she asked the teachers to give the children no homework for the night!! The Lights , Camera Confidence drama club was a class that all the children really enjoyed and drama teacher Andrea will return next year.

Trip to Slieve Gullion

Primary 6 and 7 pupils travelled the short distance to Slieve Gullion to enjoy an action packed day of orienteering and outdoor learning. Led by Phil and the OK, Let's Walk team, it was a day to remember as the pupils made their way to the top of the mountain. Here we have a photo showing the beautiful views near the top as the pupils begin their descent. More photographs are available to view and download from the OK Let's Walk website.
At St. Michael's Primary School We aim to create a calm and caring environment where teachers and children learn and work together. Each Child will be encouraged to fulfil their potential and central to this is the ethos of respect for self and others. We aim to establish a community that pupils, parents, teachers and support staff enjoy a sense of belonging to and have an important part to play.

On this blog we will keep parents/guardians informed of past and upcoming events. There will be pictures, surveys and even games for your children to play, so make sure you are a regular visitor.
